cONGRATULATIONS REELECTED MAYOR DERRICK GILL!

1) Make arrangements with creditors with realistic goals and stick to them.  

* COPT (Capital One Public Funding) Forbearance agreement was established to avoid default.  

* MOPERM $61,000 is owed; we negotiated for 3 payments of $20,000, with the final payment due in June.  

2) Establish a 24-hour professional Police Department that focuses on community policing.  

* Currently, the Pagedale Police Department operates under a 12-hour coverage model, reinforcing its commitment to community policing.  

3) Implement community programs that support senior citizens and youth.  

* Partnering with Legacy Center on a plan for senior services enhances our community programs.  

* Host the Mayor Derrick Gill's Basketball Camp.  

* Organize the Stop the Violence Basketball Tournament.  

* Collaborate with Legacy Center to develop youth programs that empower the younger generation.  

4) Repair local infrastructure to support Veldacity initiatives.  

* Pass the TDD (Transportation Development District) Final Joint Resolution.  

* By November 2025, Velda City will receive $44,000 to aid infrastructure improvements.  

* Implement a Tree Program to enhance the community's green space.  

5) Correct the court system to ensure efficiency.  

* Adjudicate cases promptly.  

* Establish processes to ensure all cases are effectively adjudicated.  

* Retrieve funds from the 3,000 outstanding cases in Pagedale.
