PACE Update

Greetings,

By now, we hope you have received word of the award winning Property Accessed Clean Energy (PACE) programs offered in the St Louis area by the Missouri Energy Savings Program (MO-ESP) and Set the Pace St Louis (STPSL). These programs provide options for home and business property owners to invest in the efficiency and sustainability of their properties. The residential programs for both MO-ESP and STPSL are administered by Ygrene Energy Fund Missouri, LLC (Ygrene). Property owners can now finance improvements like new efficient windows, heating and air conditioning systems, solar systems and insulation by placing a voluntary annual special assessment on their property tax bills.

PACE is one of the fastest growing methods of financing in the country for good reason. See how PACE is working in other communities across the nation. It offers a number of advantages over traditional financing for these types of upgrades. PACE financing generates economic development while at the same time making our communities more efficient and sustainable.

Since our program’s inception in the State of Missouri, we have funded 23 projects totaling over $247,000 in improvements.

One of the most valuable benefits of PACE is its ability to bring local jobs to your community. We have registered nearly 50 local contractors who are now Ygrene Independent Certified Contractors participating in the programs. We were also honored to be recognized for our work with the receipt of the Community Partner award from MOKAN Construction Contractors Assistance Center. Read more about the award below.

And, as always, we would love to hear from you!

Regards,

Byron DeLear

Managing Director & Central Regional Executive – Midwest

We are proud to have taken part in MOKAN‘s 7th Pre-Apprenticeship training class for minority and female workers on behalf of Set the PACE St. Louis and Ygrene Energy Fund. The students were energized by how the program works for homeowners by providing 100% financing to increase the value of their properties through energy upgrades like high-efficiency heating and cooling, new windows and doors, insulation, solar, and much more. They were also excited to know that YgreneWorks PACE financing is available in the City of St. Louis through Set the PACE St. Louis and in the rest of St. Louis County through the Missouri Energy Savings Program. PACE is Now Available in St Louis County!

Property Accessed Clean Energy (PACE) is now available!

Greetings,

By now, I hope you have had a chance to review the letter mailed to you last week. On behalf of the St. Louis County Clean Energy Development Board (CEDB), I am pleased to announce that PACE financing is available to home and business property owners in St. Louis County. This program, which we call the Missouri Clean Energy Program or MO-ESP, offers a new option for owners to invest in the efficiency and sustainability of their properties.

How it works: property owners can now finance improvements like new efficient windows, insulation, heating and air conditioning systems, solar systems and insulation by placing a voluntary special assessment on their property. This special assessment is placed on the County tax bill for the property and can be financed for up to 20 years. MO-ESP is available to your constituents at no cost to your city or the County.

Sincerely,

Jim Holtzman, Chair

St. Louis County Clean Energy Development Board

P.S. Please scroll down to learn more about this exciting program.

The St. Louis County Council established the St. Louis County Clean Energy Development Board (CEDB), and the CEDB has launched the Missouri Energy Savings Program (MO-ESP). The program provides property owners across St. Louis County with access to PACE financing to pay for energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades to their properties. The CEDB, which oversees MO-ESP, has contracted with Energy Equity Funding along with their partners, Rockwood Group and Ygrene Energy Fund, to administer the Program.

PACE is one of the fastest growing methods of lending in the country for good reason. See how PACE is working here in other communities across the nation. It offers a number of advantages over traditional financing for these types of upgrades. The program will generate economic development while at the same time making our communities more efficient and sustainable.
